I think the people who are saying "racism" are actually thinking "religious persecution". Which one is worse is a matter of opinion. However, it is absolutely true that a copy of the Koran could do nothing to endanger an airplane.
Can you give me a numerical count as to how many muslim terrorists there have been over, say the past 20 years - and a comparitive statement as to how many non-muslim terrorists there have been ?

Call it Jihadism, Islamofascism, call it Wahabbism if you want to specify the subset of islam they belong to, but a subset of islam it is.

The biggest difference is the fact that Christians universally condemn the actions of other Christians who are extremists. Muslims, even moderate ones, do NOT universally condemn the actions of the likes of al Qaeda, al Aqsa, Hamas or Hezbollah!
