The contractor is a complete greedy f**king dick. She owned the house. It was her property. He was lucky to get offered 10%. She got screwed.

The title should be changed to reflect the douche-baginess of the 2 who could not find a way to split it.

I wouldn't have asked for, nor would have I expected any of the money. It wouldn't have been mine. I would have greatfully accepted the 10% When you are in someone's house, it is NEVER finder's keepers...You don't just take something from someone else's house even if it wasn't known to be there. That's still theft!

So what have we learned? If you find money and nobody saw you find it; don't f**king tell anyone about it. The only possible outcome is that someone will take it away from you.--http://findarealestateagentonline.com

First of all the money was not the owners they never it was their an they are very lucky to have an honest friend tell them about any of it so, stop hating on the man for his desire to share more for he could have taken it all and said not a damn thing.
