jalopnik.com — Seventeen years ago, Ken Imhoff watched Cannonball Run and became so enamored with the Lamborghini Countach in the film, he hand-built his own, in his basement. It took Ken 10 years to complete the project, and the results are amazing.

I guess there is always one A-hole in the crowd! I'll put you down as being 2. Maybe "#2"

I was implying that the car looks to be of higher build quality than most other cars on the road, hence wouldn't be prone to falling apart. You're a quick one, aren't you?

@blagger801) You don't know that the 351 is more powerful, the article never says how much it produces. Countach was about 450hp (At least, the version with te body this guy has copied). That's a whole lot more than a stock 3512) 'suspension based on Corvette parts'. Not exactly a great place to start.

Yeah. Took me 10 years. Decided it wasn't worth it to build another

THat is cool. Reminds me of a 16 year old in Ontario who converted his truck to fully electric for a few hundred bucks.http://cars-to-charity.com
