I dunno how you can say it serves him right. This illustrates a vulnerability of the "non security savvy" that has been around for a long time. I alwats thought it would be a particularly nefarious attack to email a trojan with kiddie porn payload to someone you dislike, and then drop an anonymous phone call...I would never do this, but I am sure its been done before, and it's friggin scary.

This is another reason not to use Windows. Malware is only possible because of Microsoft's use of a registry.

Yea how the hell in the first place do you go and get child porn malware. I smell something fishy going on. I think he was looking at something VERY WRONG and he found a catch 22 to save his ass. Its not like he was fired for having just porn.
