applematters.com— Apple Matters has admitted that the hacks were indeed fake PR stunts. They claim that businesses were starting to be hurt by the bad press, and have now admitted that the whole thing has been a ruse.

Decent writing?"I am very sorry to post this publicly but at this point this has gone to far. Apple Matters is a big site, and it runs on Expression Engine, one of the best platforms out there. At this point this joke is begginning to impact other businesses and I cannot let that happen."In his first paragraph there exists: a comma splice, a misspelling, and a run-on sentence. Not to mention he "learnt" his lesson. That qualifies as decent writing?
This also explains why "Malcor" said he wanted to hack digg. Diggers obviously digg it, then he gets even more views, and more PR. Quite elegant no matter how disgusting it is.
What he isn't telling you is that the million dollars will be paid in installments of $10.99 a year for 90992 years. It's all he can afford from his paper route.

Mac1s claim was right all along. http://mac1.no/artikkel/5885/mac-hacking-er-pr-stu ...We can now of course also believe their claim that MacHeist have paid several thousand dollars to "hack the sites". Phil Rui, Glenn Wolsey, MacApper and the MacHeist guys are outed. This is BAD!

It was a great way for me to fine two sites that I'll never visit again.

This is also Malcor's work, something smells fishy here. Wolsey has a totally different host and all. It's a trap!

Didn't this exact same thing happen a week ago, with both stories making the front page - or is this just some strange digg echo?

Actually I was talking about Wosley's site, not AppleMatters.
