gecensus.stanford.edu — gCensus is a GIS mashup that combines data from the US Census Bureau and places into Google Earth. You can use it to create colorful overlays on maps showing population information (like age, family size, and race) organized by region (counties, cities, or even block-by-block). Best of all, it is completely free to use!

I wish Google added this to their own servers and streamed the data over to me. It'd be far more efficient than downloading seperate kmz files, and more efficient than grabbing a 750 GB torrent. My computer can't even hold 75 GB.
