10questions.com — 10Questions.com is giving us the opportunity to force the issue of medical marijuana to the forefront where our candidates can't simply dodge and deflect. The democrats have spoken on this issue along with Ron Paul, but the other GOP candidates now need to do so. Vote this video up and then await the candidate responses.

>The democrats have spoken on this issue REALLY? You mean the same democrats who kicked the war on Marijuana by high gear by hiring a military to be drug czar? Those democrats?Who DOUBLED the marijuana arrests in the country to their current levels between 700 and 800,000?Who were behind the arrests/raids of dying patients that were cuffed on their beds/wheelchairs?Oh yeah, theyve spoken clearly on this just like they spoke about Iraq in 2003.What they say now means SH** because their past actions are a direct reflection of their future actions. Which means very little difference from the other party. The democrats pushed the drug war to a new level, bombed more countries than the current twits, broke more international laws and even upped the ante by arming and training not one but TWO terrorists groups and allowing terrorist training grounds which were linked to WTC and to the Madrid bombings. Please, dont feed me your bs about how there is a difference between the parties just because you have short term memory.Dont talk about medical marijuana as something the demotards would change, anyone who knows the history of this subject knows very well how they acted when in power.

Marijuana is not used exclusively for pain treatment. It not only stimulates appetite, like IMJGalt said, but chemotherapy patients suffer from extreme nausea, and marijuana is one of the best cures in the world

legalize it? Yeah that would be a good step. Getting the feds to stop busting down doors and handcuffing little old ladies to their beds is more important at this time

Aha! A Marijuana debate.I love this debate more than anything. First of all, we have naive people who listen to the media for their information, "Drugs make you shoot yourself in the face, because you are so out-of-mind," and then there are those potheads who think it's a savior.Let me tell you, the potheads are more educated on this subject. First of all, they know what it does to your body. If you haven't smoked it regularly, you can't really argue against it. Secondly, they understand how much bullsh*t the media misinforms us. Give me one case where a pothead has shot themself in the mouth with a gun. That is just naive to believe that that behavior is accurate under the influence. Now, let me take a step back for a moment. Let me make my stance clear. I am a former user who believes that you are insane to think it shouldn't be legalized. Before you get your panties in a bundle, let me prove my point. The government spends $10 billion a year on the arrests and incarcerations of marijuana users/dealers. Also, an estimated $2 billion a year is spent on anti-marijuana advertising (including ads during the SUPER BOWL). Also, an estimated $6 billion would be gained a year from the taxation. WOW. Yeah sure, take my tax money away, I'd rather stop marijuana users than real criminals. Yes, take my tax dollars, I don't need to pay for school. Yes, there are starving people on the streets and millions dying from aids in Africa, but as long as we have a marijuana user off the streets, it's justified.I agree with the notion that it is a "gateway drug" and they basically are trying to stop all drug users at the "source." (marijuana). However, that's like banning sugar because it leads to obesity, which leads to heart disease, which happens to be the number one killer in America. You can't take candy away from a kid and expect them not to eat it. People will make stupid decisions on their own, no matter how much you educate them. How can you stop it? You can't.And why try given the health benefits of marijuana? It has been proven to be more effective than other FDA approved medicines. Yeah, let's get rid of that marijuana! There are no harmful side-effects of marijuana while HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS DIE from FDA approved drugs, you "may" get lung cancer if you smoke it for 30 years straight non-stop. For what medical reason are you going to do that? "According to the groundbreaking 2003 medical report Death by Medicine, by Drs. Gary Null, Carolyn Dean, Martin Feldman, Debora Rasio and Dorothy Smith, 783,936 people in the United States die every year from conventional medicine mistakes"Yup, you're right. Let's continue with a more deadly method. We don't need those people anyway. See this study:http://www.medicalmarijuanaprocon.org/pop/deathrep ...Zero deaths related from marijuana, while 10,000 are reported from FDA-approved drugs. Holy sh**, you people are geniuses.Health benefits? Better economy? What's not to love? You bastards keep alcohol legalized while it has claimed the life of friends and family of mine, creates abusive behaviors, and creates depression, yet, you won't legalize an herb that has proven medical benefits and almost no repercussions other than being a gateway drug. War on drugs? How about a war on stupidity? All those bucks going to fight a hypocritical war that will never be won.

Folk, we'll never get anything accomplished 'til the electoral college is done away with and the popular vote is brought back! Big business including pharmaceutical companies(lobbyist), control Washington DC and laws pertaining to illicit plants that grow natural in this world! Can't change the system 'til we change the politicians!
