I've actually been working with a SEO firm in the UK and they told us pretty much the same run-down. It all comes down to semantics.Navtiidia - Not trying to condescend, but you're really putting the cart before the horse. I wouldn't even approach a CMS site without at least a basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and a working compreshension of PHP and other server-side languages. It's a *V*E*R*Y* long road ahead of you, be patient and attentive and it will come in time.

Ok how does this stuff make it to the front page. This is not news. There are many SEO tutorials that have been around forever. This was just posted so this guy can get more links. Probably most the commenters and people that dug it are this guys friends. Can't digg tell when it is being gamed.

Not everyone who reads this site is a designer. Not everyone who reads this site has been coding Web sites since 97. Why don't some of you try not being ignorant spunk-monkeys and digg the article or not digg the article based on the article itself without the condescending comments, instead of concerning yourself with who posted it.Who gives a ratshairyass.com if the link is his or not... if it's usefull information it shouldn't matter.

Excellent article, well written and a good example of one of the many things you can do to get your site (particularly a new one) easily found. On the subject of new sites, I also liked this article from "Personal Trainer Essex" who seems to be doing is own SEO, rather than paying the professionals and has managed to achieve umpteen top 20 google rankings for his chosen keywords within about a month of starting his site. Here is the article<a class="user" href="http://forum.brownbook.net/index.php?topic=8.0" rel="nofollow">http://forum.brownbook.net/index.php?topic=8.0</a>and this is his site<a class="user" href="http://www.personaltraineressex.co.uk" rel="nofollow">http://www.personaltraineressex.co.uk</a>Have a look at what he has done - nice !
