dwight, glad you found this... I'd nearly forgotten about the "Elevator Pitch", which would be useful to me as I try and get my site/blog out into the world.Makes me wonder, though, what happens if the elevator stops?Bill Perryhttp://www.financialfreedomlibrary.com/blog/what-if-the-elevator-pitch-doesnt-go-as-planned/

Hm, on second thought I might have misinterpreted that. By stops you might have meant get stuck. I must say I haven't really thought about that - maybe because it never happened to me - and I've been on many elevators in my life! The chance of the elevator getting stuck is so small I don't see any reason to prepare yourself for it. If it happens, improvise. If you can't do that you shouldn't be running a company anyway. If your prospect is interested it's a great chance to hold your meeting right then and there. Where is he going to go?This brings another thought to mind - what if you can't get the guys attention and you press the emergency stop button so you do? It's a bold move and the conversation could move in a very positive or very negative direction - but at least it will me moving!Remcowww.remcobron.com
