well i went to the site before commenting on this article and its amazing. the prospects it holds are even more phenomenal. but in the long run i believe this technology would be swalled up by someone for more commercial use. mohnish mukkar.

I tried it out, and I have to say, pretty boring stuff. It doesn't let you edit the clips down further into something more interesting as far as I can tell. So from an editing point of view, it's pretty useless when making something creative out of scenes that already exist. All you can do is string random clips (some running far too long for the gag to be relevant all the time I fear) together. I'm sure the standard consumer would love this nonetheless, but as far as I'm concerned, I'd rather just rip the clips I want from YouTube or archive.org and do something really fun with them. But that's the editor in me talking, I guess.
