setting it to 30requests at once is probably a really bad thing to do. the webserver accepting the request may even block you from doing so. and 30? that's gotta slow you down rather than speed you up.
If everyone used this a ton of websites would be in a persistent state of 404, many hobbyist apache web servers are configured to limit the number of simultaneous threads, if it doesn't reject you it will just overload the server.Stupid, selfish, shortsighted, pathetic.
It seems fishy that the post below it was totally wholheartedly agreeing with the post and that the poster Waverunner joined 12 Feb 05 and stratoskater the poster of the forum post joined 10 Feb 05. Same person? probably...lame and old post...yes!
Wow U people on here that repeatedly say this article is old news obviously have nothing 2 do with yourselvez but stick your virtual tongues out and act like brats. Go do something productive with yourselvez and stop clogging up the internet with your useless attempts at saying "I'm a bigger geek than U" ....in other wordz....GROW UP!

Dugg, good tip. I've got 1.5 and these values were defaulted at false. The pages "appear" to be fetched more quickly, though I cannot quantify it.
