The first space shuttles were filled with pure oxygen, this was only stopped after the Challenger exploded (due to the oxygen igniting). Pure oxygen would not kill you.

Pure oxygen would not kill you.Space shuttles were NEVER filled with pure oxygen. Challenger did NOT explode due to a shuttle being filled with pure oxygen. The Apollo program saw the end of oxygen after three people were killed in a cabin fire on Apollo 1 due to the oxygen being ignited by some frayed wires.Challenger exploded due to faulty o-ring seals on the solid rocket boosters that ignited the fuel in the external tank.As far as the comment on pure oxygen not killing you, yes it can. Over exposure to pure oxygen is deadly. It kills cells which will eventually kill you.
neat.. but probably not worth the price... Come to think of it... It would probably be pretty easy to build something similar, plus the DIY factor would make it much cooler...

Don't try this. It releases dihydrogen monoxide as a gas! That stuff is deadly and is a known component in pesticides!!!
