Sounds like the major is completely in synch with the "anti-war" (pro-genocide) crowd that wants war crimes trials of American servicemen and intel agents.

I have not been in the service, but the docs interviewed by NPR seemed to be saying the memo about Hasan probably should have ended his military career; not because he was a terrorist danger due to going nuts but for the more mundane reason that his incompetence endangered Hasan's own patients. Given the times, this naturally led me to suspect political correctness may have played a role in his retention.

Hasan was bound by professional confidentiality except when disclosure might prevent a crime. Otherwise you are correct, although there are clearly differences of opinion on which actions are war crimes.

We did not go into Iraq to stop genocide you nitwit!!!! We went to war with Iraq because they have oil and because Bush claimed there were weapons of mass destruction. The US has always stood by and watched genocide take place, often encouraging it. From the Nixon administrations participation in Chile to Reagan's support for El Salvador regime that slaughtered thousands. The list goes on and on.Name where Bush listed genocide as a cause for war in Iraq. Prove that Saddam was funding genocide abroad. Otherwise admit you're lying through your teeth.
