If by "clunky" they mean "clean" I agree. I love GMail for the same reason I love having Google as my home page. It is clean and simple yet feature-rich.

Too many options and not enough features. I bet it won't even run in non-IE browsers either ... just like OWA. (active x, blah)
Wow this very interesting. I guess that they noticed that Hotmail sux. I used Hotmail back in the day when I would get constant warning messages that my mail box was full and I was loosing messages and the reason my mail box was full it was full of spam.Then they decided that if you wanted to download pop message from there Hotmail. you could no longer do it with Outlook Express you could only do it with full outlook application. Oh great just want I want spam and my contact list grabbed by a worm and published to the internet, Not. Screw you M$Hotmails UI is full of banner and windows. On a cell phone connection it would take me up to 1min before I could get to my mail.. sorry my spam. I'm glad to see them fix this mess but I'm sticking with gmail. All big companys turn evil in the long run. its fun watching M$ run. Dance Monkey Boy Dance..
Good lord, I have 8 email address that I use for various purposes. I even have a hotmail account.But this? It's like polishing a turd. When you're all done, and it's all nice and shiny, it's still a turd.I don't thing Gmail has anything to worry about

I'm gonna switch from gmail when it comes out just the sheer fact it is going to be faster, more organized and very fast to use
