newsbusters.org — Maddow launched into a minute-and-a-half soliloquy on why it is bad for the Democratic Party when commentators label Hasan a "terrorist." She even attempted to make the case on Hasan's behalf against a terrorism label. Who needs a legal team when you have friends like Maddow and Chris Matthews.

Hate takes away more from you than it does from them. Don't "hate".

You are 100% correct Feenix and apparently the only intelligent one in this comment thread.Everyone who has buried you needs to look up terrorism in the dictionary. It's the use of fear to change society. One man starting a massacre could not have possibly expected to change society. He was not a terrorist. He was a killer. No one is defending what he did. No one is saying he doesn't deserve the worst this law has to offer. But calling him a terrorist is pure ignorance.

The war on terror was an idiotic moniker and the administration got rid of it. Treat everyone as individuals, and don't clump them together.

I prefer MSNBC to the other cable channels, *most* of their hosts are better than the alternatives on CNN or Fox. Except for Maddow. Obviously she's wayyyy to the left wing and is alienating most Democrats that watch. I am awaiting the day that Chris Matthews blows a gasket and storms onto the set, after a few too many Irish coffees, and punches her.

You're seriously upset that he said he will not endanger American lives unless he has to? Is there anything kooks won't dream up a ridiculous conspiracy theory around?

@billybobtoesnot not calling him a TERRORIST is pure overeducated obstinate asininity
