theappleblog.com— "Computerworld recently posted an advance excerpt from the newsletter of Windows expert Scot Finnie." I took offense from this.

Apple is fanning the flames of fanboy-ism with these obnoxious commercials. They have a good product - why can't they just sell it on its merits alone, rather than attacking the competition unfairly. I can print a photo album in Windows just fine, thankyou.
hi, i live in india and steve jobs has paid me to troll this page and insert wonderful testimonials about the mac under the name, john kiley.::clears throat:: "i love my mac, it has everything i need to express my creativity, it aslo...my this, my that...me, me, me...and it makes me feel much better about myself and it's too bad you aren't smart enough to be a mac user because it would truly change your life."-rasheed (how did i do, mr. jobs? my 3 wives and 23 children gratefully thank you)
i have been a PC user for 20 years, and I bought a Mac Pro. I love it. I still use Windows Xp, but you can bet I won't be going to Vista. Between Mac OSX and Ubuntu, Windows just doesnt do it for me.
im an IT pro, dealing mainly with windows client server administration, and i switched to a macbook pro for a few reasons:1. best size/performance ratio. Besides a thinkpad, and maybe a vaio, the macbook pro gives me dual core, 7200 rpm hdd, 2 gb of ram all in a 1" 4.5 lb package. i digg that.2. I can run os x, linux, and xp... all at the same time..... on a notebook!3. rock stable- i have never had any problems with os x whatsoever.
I think you make a good point. Why are we trying to get people to use a particular product? Way back when, it was to make sure we could support the user with the system they bought. Now, it just seems like we're working as unwitting drones for computer manufacturer marketing departments.

As a metro-sexual trust fund kiddie, I'd prefer that you not lump me in with the Apple fanboys.
