For all of you airheads that think Unix/Linux is more secure than Windows....How do you explain the Cyber Security Bulletin 2005 that reported that out of the 5,198 reported security flaws, 812 were reported against Windows, 2,328 were Unix/Linux. The remaining 2,058 were reported against multiple operating systems.<a class="user" href="http://www.us-cert.gov/cas/bulletins/SB2005.html#UnixLinux">http://www.us-cert.gov/cas/bulletins/SB2005.html#UnixLinux</a>

Keep your insults to yourself and learn the difference between and security flaw and an exploit. A security flaw is a catch-all term, not all of them exploited yet. Show us how many of them were exploited on each platform. I bet the numbers are flip-flopped on that. And open source probably has more reported security flaws... because people can review the code, find them and fix them before they become serious. It's no surprise if more are found on Unix/Linux. Does that mean Windows has fewer or just that fewer are actually found?

Wow...and "Mister Black Turtleneck" would lead you to believe Free BSD Unix(OSX) is not hackable...hmmm.Jobs also had to admit he was lying all those years when he told everyone Power PC was faster than Intel.Isn`t it odd that OSX runs much faster with Intel Inside ? Velocity Engine ??? Just called SSE 1 , 2 , 3 on the Intel side. John C. Dvorak probably is correct when he says Mac will switch to Windows...After all , they did go with Intel and make most of their money selling overpriced boxes.
