thinksecret.com — Development of Mac OS X 10.5 is wrapping up faster than many at Apple even anticipated, and at present, a release can be expected by the end of March, sources say. Alongside the release of Version 10.5, code-named Leopard, will be new versions of Apple's consumer software suites, iLife '07 and iWork '07.

Fix the iPhoto crap.Fix computer hardware issues.De-couple iPod from iTunes. Also DRM free music.buried to the core.

My brother and I bought a couple Mac Minis about a month and a half before the release of tiger. We went to the apple store to see what the employees would says if we wanted a upgrade. I thought I was entitled since I got my mini just 2 days before the official "free upgrade point" and my brother got his long before mine. We still both got free upgrades. Only paid for shipping and materials, 10 Bucks.

Yes, I would agree that waiting would be smart. If Leopard ends up coming out much later, then with your saved money maybe you could buy the new LOW end quad core with an nVidia 8800 pre-installed (you know instead of the 8 core model); instead of the imac, or mac mini, whatever.
