macgeek.freeflux.net — Things are moving really fast in the OSX86 scene. After the open source 10.4.8 kernel has been modded by semthex to run on non Apple hardware. Now a complete Mac OS X86 DVD with the new kernel has been released. Its seems that it will work on any PCs with Intel motherboards and SSE3 CPU instructions set.

I've played around with OS X on a PC for a while now. I did it, not because I'm into hacking, but because I wanted to see if I could get used to a desktop Apple computer (I already have a PowerBook and love it). After fooling with it for a while it convinced me to buy the 20" iMac I'm typing on right now.If you try it and like it then buy the quality hardware to go with the quality OS. It'll be more stable and most of all supported!

Give me a break!!!! If you guys want a mac buy a mac. There is a major difference between a mac and PC. The mac just works. No viruses etc...
