1. Apple is a hardware company. Remember that little thing called the iPod?2. Licenses for a copy of OSX that runs on Macs cost $129, I doubt anyone cares that you're willing to pay 30 bucks under the existing price.3. Comparing Microsofts success in a market that existed decades ago to anything today is stupid and only goes to show how unintelligent you are.
And the bugs, you forgot the bugs. Half of the things aren't working fully (I am typing this from Safari 3.0), disk utility doesn't work worth a hoot, and more.Try the third release, much better than the wwdc release. Xcode 3.0 actually works now, as opposed to just sitting there and looking pretty. But yeah, having half your apps not work in Leopard is a bit of a problem. Don't expect much out of Leopard right now.
Pirates are a lot like drug users. They may have it for free but the novelty of the warez quickly wears off. It's kind of like a drug high. I used to be involved in the warez scene years ago. I hope these people grow up and move on with their lives.I don't see this as a threat to Apple but Apple has to make an effort to close the holes for appearances sake to protect shareholder value/confidence.
I wish Microsoft would get their heads out of their asses and start working on a Bootcamp for PC users. It would only help their fading popularity to be able to run both, and the only real way to compete with Apple now.
Guys, if you want to try out Mac OS X on your PC, please pirate Tiger (10.4) not Leopard.Leopard is far from being finished, it will be much more stable and will look much different when its released next year.
