Although your comment is very funny I figure people need to know that air flow is more important then ventilation... air leaking out like this could actually damage components.
Actually I've seen the cases bend and distort with normal use too. Mainly the bottom portion though. I have pics of older(2004 model) power book alum. buckling along the sides and cdrom area. The macbook is very similar construction, and mines starting to buckle out the back where the screen hinge is.
