Cheers for that. I had a similar experience with my macbook, the apple 'genius bar' (they use that word very loosely in the apple shops) people claimed there was nothing wrong, despite my button making a wierd clicking noise that it didn't make before and being generally squidgy. Tried your paper idea and it works, for now anyway.
