That is true, but to send it back in the 14-days you have to pay the 10% restocking fee, so you will pay an extra $200 or so just to get the upgrade.

Oh, for goodness sake...All you people complaining about "being screwed" because you just bought something, and something new is coming out. Argh! You did know you were buying technology, right? Technology companies are in the business of improving their products. I bought an iPhone and a new one came out with more memory. Was I surprised? No. That's what is supposed to happen. Did I get screwed? No. You have 14 days to return what you bought. In that window you can get an upgrade. But otherwise - get over yourself. You have a phenomenal computer. Use it for a year and then sell it on eBay for 80% of what you paid, and buy the upgrade. Or, be reasonable and use it for 3 or 4 years like most people because even though it's not the brand-brand-newest thing, having your own laptop still means you are in the top 3% wealthiest of the world's population and you really should quit whining.
