tuaw.com— Color me crazy, but the MacBook in this music video looks a lot like it could be one of those (PRODUCT) RED MacBooks that have been rumored before.

@theone3"appauling (sic) conditions?" You mean like how Apple, on their own initiative, tackled the iPod manufacturing problem head-on by hiring a 3rd party audit? In my eyes, they are one of the only companies who actually is open and honest about working conditions overseas. Research before you flame.<a class="user" href="http://www.apple.com/hotnews/ipodreport/">http://www.apple.com/hotnews/ipodreport/</a>
"If you want to donate money-- donate money. Don't buy a f**king red iPod so Apple can give some paltry cut of the profits to AIDS relief."How about you donate money and I buy a red iPod?
if you read the (blog) red (<a class="user" href="http://joinred.blogspot.com/)">http://joinred.blogspot.com/)</a> you can see that they've made an incredible, incredible impact with this campaign that they NEVER would have been made without the big names and big products behind them. It may be consumeristic but it's WORKING.
I guess if you don't recieve a toy/gadget after donating, you're more likely to have your s**t stink less?In the end, whatever charity you donate to, I don't think the people on the recieving end care if the money comes from someone who got an ipod or someone who ran in a marathon. They're just thankful that someone cares. I get some spiffs from the donations I make. I enjoy them, I won't lie, but it doesn't make me any better or worse as a person for receiving them rather than someone who just donates to that same charity as cash only.
That's all bull. Just wait and see... Ending up into RED Mac everywhere does not sound like something interesting to me. But let's see what Jobs will end up deciding.<a class="user" href="http://www.mostofmymac.com">http://www.mostofmymac.com</a>To help you get the most out of your mac...
To be fair to Africa, levels of corruption depend on the country you are talking about within Africa. Some are worse than others. It is true though that areas where people have the worst problems are also areas with the worst/most corrupt governments (which is not a coincidence).
