msnbc.msn.com — In a searing editorial, NBC News has completely called out Jack Thompson on his misguided logic for using video games as a scapegoat only hours after victims were killed. "It's so sad. These massacre chasers — they're worse than ambulance chasers — they're waiting for these things to happen so they can jump on their soap box"

I'm wondering what role JT believes video games played in the rampages of Brenda Spencer, Charles Whitman, Paul Orgeron and others like them who were perps in school shootings in times before video games.

By Jack Thompson's logic, there should have been no murders or massacres what so ever in the years before movies and video games ever were created in the first place.

oh and don't go blaming music unless you accept the fact that Hitler killed far more people than these retarded school shooters and he listened to classical.

Hypothetically speaking, if five out of ten murders were committed by people that played "violent" video games, that'd be alarming. However, they'd need to examine the fact that MILLIONS of people play "violent" video games and are NOT murderers.Whatever Jack's objective is, he's clearly skewing information in his favor.
