mplayerhq.hu— After almost a year, a new version of mplayer has been released with a bunch of small changes. Hopefully, it isn't too long until 1.0 is final, hopefully with some dvd menu support. ;)

I stopped using mplayer over a year ago. Sorry, but the Xine library kicks MPlayer's ass with superior performance, quality and reliability. It even surpasses GStreamer. (Remember how a while ago Amarok switched from GS to Xine?) Besides, DVD menus anyone?

I believe you can also use W and E to adjust the pan/scan range, which might be what you're looking for.
