arstechnica.com— Straight out of the RIAA playbook, the MPAA has heard the call of Rep. Howard Berman and compiled a list of the top movie piracy colleges and universities in the United States.

Not too many things I was happy with at RIT, but the level of pirating going on was beautiful. I'm pleased to see they made the list. I graduated in '04 and I fondly remember my letter from the RIAA back in '02 or '03.
I'd have to disagree about us from building 7, I see many more people in there past 3 or 4 am, even before week 9 than I do any other college. It might look like play time, but i swear to you when i say that it'll kick your ass if you view it like that. The photo program specifically is known for it's ridiculously high standards and astronomical drop-out rates.Anyways, i think i'm the only art kid on here...=X
You know, this is scary... the RIAA/MPAA might start agreeing on one thing.. to hold up as scoreboard of shame OR scoreboard of fame (depending on your perspective) of the top university downloaders of content *aka* pirated content.. I can imagine pirate bay hosting such lists as well... sometimes you gotta hand it to them, they shoot themselves in the foot once too publicly and too often! When will it get bad for them (riaa/mpaa).. when any university from Louisiana starts making the list.. BUAHAHAHA!!!

I'm not sure whether I should be proud or worried that my school appears on the list. Either way, go Virginia Tech!

Only two spots for the SEC, we need to step it up!
