I just throw a ton of photos into iMovie all at once, set a standard transition between each photo, turn on the Ken Burns effect and drop some music in. Then it's off to iDVD to render menus and a disk image. Yeah I wasnt looking for something that obvious. And prepping the video would take hours, albeit I dont have to spend hours adding them one at a time, but its not exactly what I was looking for. I am better off telling friends to download the zip file, extract the JPEGs onto a CD-R and have any DVD player play them back in a slideshow.
