I think Will McDonough's Cradle to Cradle sustainable design techniques show more promise than MIT's Fab tree Hab. Cradle to Cradle uses eco-friendly materials that are available in the local environment and the house doesn't take 50 years to be built.

It's not worthed. First of all it's going to take too long and then you'll only have a small house with limited surface area. It's not like this can make the kinds of complex homes we have today.
