thinkprogress.org— "A spokesperson for Lynne Cheney, wife of the vice president, would not deny that she, too, was a candidate for the U.S. Senate seat, according to The Associated Press."

There's voting against something, and there's filibustering for 18 months to prevent it. Like I said, 1 Senator can derail anything. And if Lynne Cheney doesn't care about being re-elected, she'd make the perfect person to do that job. Any other Senator might not be willing to sacrifice his or her career to save Dick. So yes, it's worse.
I've listened to Dick, his wife, and his gay daughter in multiple interviews. All three have the same manner of asserting blatant lies with a kind of forceful authority that Republican sheeple gobble up. Psychopaths probably.
Oh, you mean the Governor gets to replace a senator in special circumstances... OH THE HORROR!Would you prefer that the governor replaces a senator with someone they COMPLETELY disagree with?
@thcobbs, It's amazing that you could find fault with a 100% factual, non-opinion comment. Says a lot about you. All I was doing here was telling people what the law was. And btw, the Governor is a Democrat, so yes, he is replacing the Senator with someone he probably disagrees with. But that's the law. You might try reading the comment next time before shooting your mouth off.FWIW, my personal preference would be to hold a new election asap. It's the only fair way to deal with this.
I have no idea what that's supposed to mean. Are you saying that what I quoted isn't actually the law? I suppose the link could be lying to me. Perhaps Wyoming has two sets of laws, like illegal bookies. Should we go research this?
