Ooooooooookay... Preacherman (the Lux Moderator) has informed me that it was NOT him who took the name "Preacherman" to write the above negative review, it is an impostor who took his name to trash the game.I haven't heard from the real paranoiarodeo yet, but I have a feeling the same is also true for him (for one thing, the "paranoiarodeo" who reviewed the game here claims not to be playing anymore, whereas the real para is still going strong. Oh, and BTW, the real para doesn't capitalize his username).Apparently the same thing happened when the game was reviewed in InsideMacGames.com, when some angry nuts from the site took the name of established Luxers to trash the game in the review section.I was lucky enough to register here on Digg before an impostor could grab my nickname, so from now on I will take it upon myself to keep track of who on Digg is an impostor and who is not.
don't be fooled by this guy impersonating "preacherman".The real Preacherman is way to busy doing his medicore programming to be hanging out here.Furthermore the real Preacherman needs a haircut and a shower, and reeks of herb... so bad in fact, that you'd be able to catch a whif online.
A quick perusal of the comments here should provide a fair introduction to the Lux Delux community. If these are the people with whom you'd like to spend serious time, then this game is well worth the $25.
No, you freaking impostor. You're not "the real" sylocat. Stop spamming Digg with your useless comments, trying to sell us a game. You probably work for one of those "marketing street teams" that posts comments on hundreds of blogs, peddling your awful software. Climb back into your butt.I've dugg you down for spamming.
Agree completely with this digg. I used to play alot. It was lotsa fun. Still keep in touch with the lux forums, but I had to move on as my wife was ready to kill me. But Justcuriousman is absolutely correct. The top ranked players in any given scoring period are always the ones who played the most games. Kind of a ridiculous system. And oh how it goes to the heads of those who get medals for excessive game play ROTFLMAO. The perennial first place player is actually very good, but the record suggests several are better and he conspicuously avoids those considered the real monsters of the game, select few who play a more strategic and less luck intensive, low card version of risk, players with the names Shopi and Zod to name a few.Don’t look for things to change. The Man appears to be actively supporting the quantity over quality system by configuring the software so that only players spending 10 hours a day playing are allowed to compete for weekly medals. He has likewise made it clear he’s opposed to any changes to the system.
Lux was born out of a scam begun by its homosexual drug addict president, Dustin Sacks. He has no qualms about ripping of people attempting to buy his product. Stay away from Sacks and the terrible software he trys to peddle.

Paranoiarodeo is so bored with lux that he continues to play and host games. Funny eh? Lux Rocks! I've played since 2004, and I still play beotch!

You couldn't hold my jockstrap jonnie. Your just a wannabee moderator. Why don't you and Tide hook up and destroy some happiness?

Lux is a great game and, IMO, the best Risk clone out there. I haven't played in a public online game in quite a while but the games were always fun.
