The REAL REASON why this was pulled from the app store :OBKenobi :" You need years of training to use a saber. The Phone saber is too dangerous to allow in the hands of the untrained public."

Yes, you do. And it was the first app I downloaded when I found out the macbook had a motion sensor / accelerometer built in.The other was one where depending on which side of the screen you whacked it would Alt-Tab to the next program... I uninstalled that one before I ended up smacking my screen off the hinges.

It wasn't Lucas Arts or George Lucas that pulled the app, it was THQ. They currently own the rights to Wireless Star Wars media. Companies pay large amounts of money to hold the rights to Star Wars on different platforms. THQ has the right to pull the app because they are not profiting from phonesaber. If you paid $300,000 for a house and some guy comes onto your property with his Motor home and starts using your yard - what would you do? Obviously THQ doesn't want to anger the fanbase so they removed it politely and also plan to work together with the developers on a better phonesaber app. I'm sure the new app will not be free, but with official support it will have a lot more features and end up being better.
