cbc.ca — It soon will be a crime in this Cajun-country town to let the waistband of your pants sag too low in public. Mayor Carol Broussard has said he will sign an ordinance the town council approved this week setting penalties of up to six months in jail and a $500 fine for being caught in pants that show undergarments or certain private parts.

As a Louisiana citizen, I am not proud that this law is going into effect. How people wear their clothes is an expression of one's self. Telling people how they can wear their clothes and how they can't is going to far. I'm not offended by sagging, but I am sympathetic. Though it is an expression, it looks likes you don't have enough sense to pull your pants up, and you're spending too much time concentrating on keeping your pants on your body.

if 100% of murderers prosecuted were black, then yes it would be a racist law. A seemingly neutral, benign law, when used for racist purposes is racist.

Maybe not illegal but still stupid.

Just a guess, but I'd say you're getting dugg down because you're being unnecessarily belligerent and offensive.

The only downside I see to this law is that I will lose all possibility of seeing one of these retards trip over his own pants when trying to run.

I hear Iran and Saudi Arabia have a whole lot of laws about "proper dress" that should keep your eyes nice and safe.
