wiki.mozilla.org — "We are currently in the early development stage for Firefox 3, and would like to collect all the ideas for feature enhancements in a single place. Our goal is to create a single index that lists what sorts of things we're thinking of doing, with links to more detailed ideas about implementation specifics or concerns..."

"Yeah, but Firefox doesn't "unexpectedly quit" OVER AND OVER AGAIN like Safari."Safari hasn't ever unexpectedly quit on me... ever. Are you sure you are running 10.4.8 and all the other updates ect.I mean, i put my macbook through a lot of s**t and never see a crash ever.Even on those warez sites that pop up like 200 windows, it blocks them all and never crashes unlike IE.Firefox was great when i was a windows user, but safari is just so well integrated with OSX. (loading bars on the downloading icons on the desktop make me giggle inside)

Using the nighty's (technically firefox 3 early build if I understand it right) they have dramatically improved memory usage. I mean it used between 10mb-15mb more than opera at most, and sometimes even less. By firefox 3's official release I'd imagine they would have improved it even more.

i would like a right-click topical help link, so that i can be made instantly aware of any appropriate functions i don't know exist for what i am doing (I didnt know about shift to move folders about). I definitely dont mean windows-type help, where they slowly load and throw the whole useless book at you, opened on a reasonably useless page.

They need to fix the MEMORY hogging issues, startup speed and overall sluggish of Firefox before adding any new features.
