I find phrases like "real user" so irritating. Firstly who gave you the right to define what a "real user" is. Also it's not like "user" is some sort of high grade that you achieve when you reach mastery of the PC. If a person browses the web using Linux + Firefox every day and is none the wiser to what Linux even is they are still a user, some might even call them a "real user".
Of course, you'll also need a license for those power tools you have.Oh, blender operation? License. Want to flush that toilet? Think again. Show me your license.Sorry, can't take a hot shower. You're not licensed to use the hot water tap. Cold only.Get the point yet?Anyway, be happy those morons exist. It creates entry level jobs into IT.
You have to be kidding me! If you don't use those commands frequently, you won't remember them, or at least I won't!! I own the Official Ubuntu Book, it is in pristine condition!! I took one look through it and found I did not want to have to memorize all that stuff perfectly! Command Line is very unforgiving!! Everything must be type and spaced perfectly!!! In the correct order no mistakes! Syntax is important!! GUI is self prompting!! you only have to remember vaguely where things are and when you find them they work!! Google is your friend when it comes to a fubar situation, it will point you to a place in the forum where people with photographic memories will give you all the CLI commands to cut and paste into the terminal, just like you used to have to do in DOS with Win95! People that like CLI should have never upgraded from DOS!!! I never had a C-64, Sinclair, or TI computer, I had an Atari ST, no CLI needed, I now use Ubuntu 8.04 for the same reason!!
You can't pirate the hardware needed to run it. These people are stuck with our recycled computers. They don't run XP well, and won't run Vista at all.If you have a 1GHZ PC with 256MB RAM, you're not going to be running XP SP3.

No terminal? Pop quiz hot-shot, your Xorg server crashes after an update to your nvidia driver. What do you do, what do-you-do?
