boingboing.net — Here's a fascinating post on "foil impressioning" -- a simple lock picking technique that uses the lock itself to fashion a working key out of soft aluminum tape. You just stick a key loaded with this stuff into a lock and wiggle it around in a special way and the lock opens itself.

Might be mainland Europe-only...but I can't say for certain. I just know I've not yet seen one in the UK.

I was gonna say the same thing but I don't know about this lock type. But it's funny how little known and effective a bump key is for most locks.
