splicetoday.com— An ex-KGB member's claim that American will break apart by 2010 is suddenly being taken seriously by the Russian media. Which segment will you end up in?

I've read about this. This Russian political scientist came up with the claim that in the original document with which the US bought Russia, the wording was "leased" not bought, and that it ends in 2012. This is stupid (not to mention wrong) on so many levels. How do they even plan on "taking it back"? Asking for it because "it's the right thing to do"? There would be too many new t-shirts to make if we had to reduce our stars!

There are now two threads dedicated to this same article. I have having duplicates shouted at me. My comments are on the other, wherever it is.

That ex-KGB wanted some media attention. This is publicity stunt and nothing else.
