opensourcewindows.org — Perfectly simple and great for getting non-techies using F/OSS. Open Source Windows is a 'simple list of the best free and open-source software for Windows'. The site is based on Open Source Mac, which has been on Digg previously.

Very cool list... but i think that the site is for introducing people into the OSS, not for developers...

Superb. Any plans for a link to list alternatives to the headline recommendations?

Actually, the one listed is free. The windows client at xchat.org is not, but this one is a Xchat 2 clone freeware.

The uTorrent developer now works for PeerFactor (the P2P network poisoning company) so even if uTorrent was opensource (which it isn't) it would be on that list (since it only contains the 'best' opensource software)

sadly mp3bookhelper hasn't been updated for ages :(mp3tag is not opensource, but a fine freeware.
