Wasn't aware any of those were in the United States... . Chaco Canyon is though (Pueblo Indians, circa AD 900), though it only had 2,000 people and only lasted until AD 1,150.
I noticed Rothenburg, Germany wasn't on any of the lists (middle ages). If you haven't been there, you should go...place is pretty cool...it's like a time machine.
@fantasticjon "How did it become so popular to belittle America?"Possibly when a group of ignorant hicks voted in a fellow moron who then destabilized the entire world. America needs to be belittled and told what a bunch of f**k ups we are. It's time for Americans to get into reality and realize the mess we've made in the world and that (gasp) people are actually justified in their hatred.@sjbdallas "People like to bash the US right up until they need us to help them out with disaster relief, unsecured loans, murderous dictators, communist and/or fascist war machines, etc."America gives less in foreign aide then far smaller European countries, the "loans" we give require the destruction of an areas traditional way of life and a blank check for US corporations to exploit said area and NO ONE wants America's "help" in overthrowing their government because when we do we create the Shah or Iran, Pinochet in Chile, Death Squads in Nicaragua or IRAQ.You two are fools who buy the bulls**t and that's a big part of why America is hated.
@fantasticjon"Its strange that so many people in the world are trying to immigrate into the cesspool that we live in over here."Yes because being a better place than Mexico make Merka a wondrous land of goodness doesn't it, you ****.
Bah the list is inaccurate anyways: Jericho, West Bank, Palestinian territories, 9000 BC Evidence indicates that the city was abandoned several times, and later expanded and rebuilt several times."abandoned several times" is not continuously inhabited

Who ever said America was 500 years "old" is a moron. They just celebrated the 400th anniversary of Jamestown, the first colony.
