"those of us who like to support the work people do."And that's why I pirate the album then go to the concert, b/c last time I checked artists get RIPPED OFF from album sales by the MPAA...etc
Excellent point, but remember that while you're paying $8+ for a movie ticket, plus $$ for food...you're also getting to see a movie as soon as it's released and you're getting to see it on a huge screen that 99.99% of the world does not have personal access to.Now if these $10-$15 movies were releases that are currently out in theaters, I'm sure there would be a lot more positive responses.
only morons will buy movies from iTunes.. who the f**k is gonna pay 10-15 dollars for a movie with bad resolution? probably KR and some others apple suck-ass fanboys.
I bought Minority Report, Catch me if you can for 4 bucks a piece ( with Special features DVD) last year thanks giving. Yes, they have DTS and Dolby tracks so i can relish them in my home theatre. For file download, I don't think there will be raw audio tracks that give out DTS and Dolby. If you need the quality it has to > 4GB ! Apple must have some other USP for this thing to click !
Let's assume Apple can make it cheaper while gaining a profit. If so, then make them cheaper! It just makes them more appealing, unless of course 10-15 bucks is as cheap they can sell them while still keeping a profit. You still make a good point zaren, I'm just saying...

That's a great way to put it, in terms of movie ticket sales. It puts things into perspective and makes these prices actually seem reasonable.

if the downloads are 720p or better they might be worth that price.
