Yes, Microsoft makes you install stuff, because when they include it for free, then it is called a monopolisation and somebody makes them pay big bucks for that.So it is practically illegal for Microsoft to distribute "high quality accessories" with the OS.
7zip sucks compared to IZArc. the built-in shell commands are perfect, performs just like winrar but much more minimalistic.another program that was not mentioned for burning is imgburn which burns many image types that burnatonce can't. i use burnatonce and imgburn. burnatonce let's you build images from files so in that sense it acts more like nero where you can do video and audio as well. make sure you download ProDVD as it is the plug-in for burnatonce that lets you create/burn dvds.i have zero warez on my computer, i gave that up a long time ago. it's not worth it, usually creates a ton of problems for your system.also, he mentions FileZilla as a server - it is garbage for this, i use it in a production environment. go with zFTPserver instead, it is completely free as is filezilla but there are many more features and it is a more secure and stable server.

Not exactly as a replacement, but closehttp://www.slysoft.com/en/virtual-clonedrive.htmlplus any other free CD burning software (so you do need two freeware to somewhat match the functionality)

I just have a problem with AVG in general. Their scanner used to be wonderful, but has recently gone to the dumps.

There is nothing wrong with downloading pirated materials. If only the companies would lower their prices then people wouldn't download as much.http://twilight.ws/
