Contrast ratio is a function of sensor size? Where did you pull that juicy bit of BS from? Contrast "ratio" isn't even a relevant term for photography. It was a term invented to describe the ratio between the lowest and highest EMITTED light in an computer monitor. Camera sensors don't EMIT light in the first place so the term is nonsense. So only a 35mm size sensor will produce images that people will be satisfied with? Even DSLRs don't have 35mm sensors, only 3-4 models do, and yet I would hardly say that those are the only four digital cameras people don't complain about. Do you fancy yourself a digital photography expert because you live next door to a camera store?
