My opinion: Somebody should market a Linux netbook to upper class elementary school kids. That would make it cool, furthering adoption. I know a lot of focus is toward low cost hardware targeted at emerging markets, but I think it leads to a perception that Linux is an alternative if can't afford the "real thing".

I would be excited if I wasn't sure I would be forced to download something either for the os or browser to make it work and probably be forced to type some commands or use some tar files
