mrooney.blogspot.com — Avant Window Navigator has released version 0.3.2 today. This includes the release of the core dock, "awn", and all the applets and plugins, "awn-extras". Many bug fixes and feature requests closed in this release, including a few entirely new applets and rewritten applets.

This version can be used as a standalone dock with no panels. It literally has a gadget for everything now.Though i do wish that it would be more customizable and easier to customize, how it is handle now just isn't what i would call thoughtless. Taking some idea's from Cairo dock would be wonderful, docks really need to make use of Cairo's docks idea of sub docks and improve it.

I stopped using awn a while ago as I found it too buggy. I just switched to using the bottom panel until recently, I've been using Docky from Gnome-Do. I may give this version of awn a try, but it's going to have to take a lot to prize me away from Docky!
