Car enthusiasts used to build cars too. Now they just trick them out.

Sorry, by "work" I mean doing things on my computer that people are actually willing to pay for. In my case, it's software development. Mostly using Visual Studio.Feel free to go back to your You Tube videos now.

4 Years, no sorry. It will eventually with a lot of work become a serious competitor with a large share of the market but nothing this big can turn completely around in 4 years.

I can easily see why Vista gets the bad rep. Unfortunately, too many people listen and forget to try it themselves. Or, first error message that pops up is regarded as "the end of the universe, never would've seen something like this in a thousand years on Mac or Linux, I hate Vista, *spew molten hate all over Internet forums*". But the truth is, Vista is reliable if left to deal in its own field. People with Vista problems attempt to run them on Mac computers (parallels), build their own computers (incompatible hardware... for now), or push it to its limit on a machine incapable of performing efficiently with the weight of Vista already bearing down on it. Vista may not be the most stable, but there are solutions and there will be fixes. Hell, in the last 7 months in which I've owned my custom computer (built and set up by me, who is not, in fact, any sort of professional, it's that easy) it has given me three fatal error messages, all of which contributed to a 7 year old webcam, failed to run 5 programs, of which 3 were DOS based and over 10 years old, the other 2 were known to have Vista issues, and has only slowed in performance due to my filling up a 300 GB master drive with downloaded junk.I see Mac's benefits, with stable, if limited hardware, and Linux benefits (I don't really want to use it due to game incompatibility and I know dick all about using it, but I'll get to it sooner or later). But my point is, unless you've used Vista with caution and self control, try that before you spew unsupported hate everywhere. It doesn't look good on you.
