"wow that webpage looks like it was made 15 years ago. computer monitors these days ARE capable of displaying things more complex than plain text."It's not a webpage, it's a changelog.
"The Linux kernel is a free software Unix-like operating system kernel Linux 2.6.15 is the KERNEL"@lpcustomyes, as it said in your quote, it is the OPERATING SYSTEM kernel... :P It's the kernel that operates your system. Together with some other stuff, but without it, the other stuff wouldn't operate.bleat!

Anybody know where I can get the Libc headers for the newer Kernels? I've wanted to make an LFS system, but I can't find them as listed at <a class="user" href="http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/stable/chapter05/linux-libc-headers.html">http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/stable/chapter05/linux-libc-headers.html</a> .

Yay, they finally fixed the acpi_bus_find_driver(device) bug that caused HP Sonoma laptops to not boot! I can run unpatched again. Three seconds of my time was just saved with this new kernel release. Gotta love those productivity enhancements!Time to update the Gentoo nc6220 page...<a class="user" href="http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_Gentoo_on_HP_Compaq_nc6220">http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_Gentoo_on_HP_Compaq_nc6220</a>-Riskable<a class="user" href="http://www.riskable.com">http://www.riskable.com</a>"I have a license to kill -9"
