@Screwballl:Yes it's beta and I agree don't talk bad but Beta is nothing but a scapegoat lately ie: Don't blame us for writing a bad program it's still in BETA.I had issues with 1.0 and hated it but I am hopeful for 1.1 to be better. Got to love the Linux community for at least trying to get a good alternative to WinMCE and while MythTV is pretty good the claims that LinuxMCE has made sound better.
I think one of the problems a lot of people had (myself included) was that the video overpromised and underdelivered in a pretty big way.That voice over painted such a great picture, and was so smug, that when people installed the program, they expected it to be at least a bit as good as promised.That said, the TV and sound system that was used should have been a pretty big hint that at least the person who made the video wasnt into "home theater" so much.
Hey, Cool! Perfect timing... I've built a MCE box but was unable to get ubuntu edgy installed. (issues with older kernel not liking my MB) Now I can use Kubuntu!!! Yes. Thank you Linux MCE.
