NetHooks.com is going to start eating LinkedIn's lunch soon. Tried them out and very impressed and have a great potential.Personally instead of trying to compete in the social arena, LinkedIn should focus on refining their current features and work on offering networking for free.
I for one think the new layout is very sexy. The look (aside from the massive ad, which we have all come to ignore/block anyways) is incredibly clean, and professional. I hope the entire site gets overhauled and not just a few key pages.

Yeah they are horribly implemented and not searchable. I think the site could be very useful but they just do such a awful job of implementing things.
