Perhaps you didn't notice, but we have a Political News section on Digg for a reason. I'm not sure what that reason is, but I'd guess it's to keep otherwise ignorant people like you in the loop.As for the clip: I love it. On the one hand, I have to commend Rush for standing with what he believes. On the other, more rational, hand, Rush is just as ignorant as the guy above, those against the advancement and teaching of science, and those who think that teaching sexual abstinence actually works -- none of them listen to common sense or real, hard facts and observations.
Rush Limbaugh is a big fat assh**e. But not an idiot. And this proves it.The assh**e couldn't argue with the need for stemcell research, and yet his agenda calls for him to oppose stemcell research, so what does he do? Smear a sufferer of Parkinsons calling for stemcell research, of course. And the annoying part is that people BOUGHT IT.What's relevant here is that 1) Yes, Fox is really a sufferer of Parkinsons, and 2) yes, stem cell research is the best avenue there is to offer a cure for Parkinsons, and 3) yes, the only reason to oppose stem cell research is religiously driven political dogma. And yes, it is really f**king low to attack someone suffering from Parkinsons for trying to find a cure, just because of your religiously driven political dogma.I say this and I don't say it lightly: I hope Rush gets Parkinsons or Alzheimers. Really f**king soon. He's richly deserved it. And may he rot in hell.
No he did not make himself a target. We chose a side, a side that shared the same views that he did. He went out and voiced his opinion. The other side has every right to voice there opinion on why he is wrong. Just becase you voice an opinion does not mean to are fair game for personal attacks. If that were the case, I would have started my post with "You assh**e" but I did not because regardless of the fact that you and I may disagree, you do not deserve a personal attack from me.
In regards to this:Limbaugh is a man without morals or conscious thought. Insulting Michael like he did is the equivalent of calling a paraplegic lazy because they can't get out of their wheel chair. Un-frikin-believable that people would say stuff like that. WE NEED A CURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Rush obviously was not making fun of people with park, he was calling MJF out for purposefully making his condition seem worse, making people feel bad, to get votes.
You guys are missing the point ... going way too deep here. Rush pointed out that Fox was either exaggerating or acting. How likely is that? Very...Why would they show an ad of someone who's symptoms can barely be noticed? At the very least, he made no attempt to keep the wild movements under control - if not exaggerating. Just look at the video of his response, is it anywhere near out of control as the ad? Of course not, there's no reason to....Shameless, yes. A big deal like everyone's made it out to be? No.... move along...
Fox's profession is acting. For many years, he had his own TV show. He starred in a highly successful feature film. Since Parkinson's, do you see him working much in his profession? Even cameo appearances are difficult. He and the rest of the cast and crew must take a tremendous amount of time and effort to work around the competing effects of Parkinson's and his medications. People don't want to watch Boston Legal, LA Law, or whatever and see a guy flayling about or one who can't move or speak. They want to see successfull people. When MJF appears like a "normal" person on these shows, it gives us all hope, but he makes those appearances only with great courage and the effort of all involved. Why don't you give him and others afflicted with debilitating diseases some hope in return? You never know, you or your family might wind up with a problem that could have otherwise been helped or cured through further medical research.Limbaugh is paid millions each year to tear down "liberals".
I read a note that was found on a captured laptop after a US airstrike had killed the Al-qaeda terrorist Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, where he postulated that the Democrats could be of great help to the terrorist cause. And then he went into detail of how the Democrats are currently hurting America and helping his cause. He specifically mentioned a few Democrat congressmen by name, who are helping the worldwide Jihad. He also was keenly aware of the America-hating liberal press in the USA and said they are "tools" of the Jihad. He went on to say that without the Democrats help, Al-qaeda and the Jihad is doomed to failure.Hmmmmm ....... and you think Hillary doesn't know it. This goes beyond ordinary corrupt political money grabs, this is corruption of the soul and is reflected in every Democrat who expresses hate for Rush and Bush. I agree that it's not possible to be a Democrat and be pro-America anymore. That note proves it.

Why don't we just throw Limbaugh, O'Reilly and the rest of the opinionated conservative assh**es off a cliff? They don't care about anyone else's opinion except their own.I'm sure you've all seen this...http://youtube.com/watch?v=80l9kQ7Yw6w

It's important to note that thinkprogress is a George Soros funded left wing media-blitz organization... for the record.
