I use in-ears with ear muffs over them. It's an industrial riding mower with a blower. That sucker is LOUD as frick.

Just get some in-ear earbuds that pretty much eliminate ambient noise. I have a Zune, and in my high school's cafeteria during lunch time I would have to turn the volume up to 10-15 out of twenty to be able to hear my music in addition to all the mindless chatter going on around me. Ten dollars and a trip to Sam Goody later, I had a nice new pair of in-ear earbuds that eliminate all background noise while I only need to keep the volume at maybe four or five. Plus they've never fallen out.http://www.paramegsoft.com/forum/http://game.paramegsoft.com/
